September was a busy month for me with dad and dear daughter, Sydney's birthday. Yes that's her name, no she is not made in Australia (before another person ask if she is conceived there).
Hubby used to joke that he named her Sydney so that when she is old enough to understand, he could tell her that he loves her so much that he named a city after her..............and all of us think that it is such a lame joke.
Here is the cake that I baked for Sydney's birthday.
This is a butter cake baked using the Wilton Ball Pan and it is covered with fondant. The bear sitting on the cake is made using fondant by Sydney herself.
