Naughty BOOBs Cake

For my colleague's BIG 40th birthday, a few of us gathered together and decided to get her a naughty cake. She has been passing remarks and implying that she would love to have super size boobs with cleavage. After much thought we decided on a Boobs Cake. It was unanimously agreed that none other than moi will make the cake. As I am the only one amongst them who has ventured into cake baking and decorating.

Since my graduation from Wilton, I have not have many encounters with fondant. Even though I have been baking quite a lot lately, especially cupcakes but all the people that I baked for prefers buttercream. I supposed fondant is still relatively new in this part of the world.

Thus far, the only elaborate design that I have made with fondant is my Wilton Course 3 graduation cake. And that was pretty easy as we have instructors to guide us through. When I had to decorate this Boobs cake on my own it was quiet a challenge. Firstly, it was about getting the colour tone right. Then it was the care required to ensure that the workmanship is neat and looks real.

I must admit that I wasn't quite happy with the end result as it wasn't as neat and pretty as I had imagine it to be. But I am glad that despite the imperfection, the birthday girl is overjoyed with her cake.

jojo : Thanks for dropping by :).

caked crusader : Not only that you can also decide on the size and shape...ha..ha..ha

nic(khkl) : Wah...you are such a pro. I failed to get the right skin tone.

caked crusader : thanks for tagging me. Memoir is usually a long story. To do it in 6 words, I need more time.

blog princess : Thanks for dropping by :). You have a lovely blog.

little corner : Thanks :)

suesue : Ya it certainly is more challenging than buttercream.

big boys : Wah you got bionic eyes ar? All the people only see the pink lacy bra and boobs. How come you see got gold colour ar? The only gold colour is the aluminium foil covering the cake board.
